Increase Sales By Changing The Title Description on Your Business Cards

Something insidious has happened during the last 10 to 15 years within the best position of any in the business world. Sales professionals have co-opted their roles by embracing titles such as:

Business Development Strategist
Project Development Consultant
Customer Relations Specialist
Business Development Consultant
Closing Transaction Specialist
Regional Accountant Specialist
Marketing Consultant

Rarely do you read the following title in a business card:

Salesperson

Sales Executive

Sales Specialist

Sales Consultant

Sales Representative

And how often do you read the following:

Professional Salesperson?

What happens when something is not clearly defined? The results are usually muddied and require far more resources to achieve.

So what is the problem with being called a salesperson or having the word sales in the job or title description? I believe that many in sales truly do not want to be in sales and by changing their title they can change what they do and focus on other aspects of business building. Then what happens is that sales results are marginal at best.

These reasonably intelligent individuals fail to realize that business building is about attracting new customers (making sales) and developing loyal customers (making sales). For without sales, a business will not be a business. Sales Coaching Tip: Sales are the goal!

Imagine for a moment a baseball team and everyone is called football players. What would happen? The reason baseball players are called baseball players is because they play with a baseball. So why would those in sales who make sales be called anything other than a sales person.

Until individuals including small business owners to C Level executives understand that hitting a moving target (undefined target) is very difficult, the goal to increase sales will continue to allude most of these organizations. And what is more frightening due to the lack of competent sales professionals, many small business owners to C Level executives allow these titles such as business development specialist to continue to proliferate the business world. Sales Coaching Tip: Sales managers have your sales people called sales representatives, sales specialists or sales professionals. This will increase their focus.

Being in sales is the best profession in the world. If you do not want to be in sales, then get out and find a job that works with what you want out of life.

Audio Books Changing the Face of Literature

The title might suggest that audio books have only started to change the way people read but in fact this innovation has been with us since the early 1930s. It was when J.P. Harrington recorded his dialogue with Native American tribes in 1933 when he stumbled upon audio books. Audio titles have already been in use before and they are reemerging again due to its convenient use and accessibility. With the advent of the internet, any digital file was available for downloading. Music files and movie files were being downloaded every day and downloadable audio titles became a part of this trend which changed the way people immerse their selves in literature.

The present generation is famous for living life in hyper speed. Millions of people around the world are always moving about in a fast pace trying to meet deadlines and most of them do not have the time or the luxury to sit still and wait for the world to slow down. Most of these people can't afford to spare some time and read a book which is why the reemergence of audio books became a blessing to most of them.

For those people who can't wait to read a whole book but still love literature, audio books are the perfect solution to this predicament. So many people download audio titles every day and several of them listen to them while they are driving to work or riding the train or waiting for their laundry to dry. They are the most convenient solution to the person always on the go.

Audio Books vs. Regular Books

Compared to the paperbound or hardbound novels, audio literatures are much cheaper to reproduce and more convenient to use. Regular books are manufactured with the use of trees or recycled paper. Every time publishing companies publish a book they have to use hundreds of trees or recycled paper to produce books to be sold on bookstores. It can be quite expensive to reproduce books not to mention costly for the environment, which is why audio novel is a much more convenient alternative.

Audio books do not use trees or recycled paper for republication; actually it doesn't use any tangible material to be published over and over again. It uses digital recordings which can be reproduced immediately and several times over with little to no effort. They are merely recordings of a narrator telling a story or instructing the listener on whatever procedure the listener would want to learn. Back then audio titles were sold in tapes or vinyl records but because sound recordings nowadays have been digitized they can be downloaded through the internet with much more ease.

Downloading Audio Books From The Internet

If you want to download an audio title from the internet, just look for a search engine and type download audio books in the search field. In an instant, you will get hundreds of websites that offer audio titles to be downloaded.

When you have chosen a website, the next thing for you to do is just follow the instructions written there on how to download audio novels. Don't fret if you don't know much about the internet and downloading because most of the time the instructions in these websites detail all you need to know and do to get the item you want. They are quite easy to follow.

There are hundreds of websites that offer downloadable audio books. Some charge a small fee while others offer free audio titles. Although there are websites that offer free audio books, these sites mostly have limited titles. At a small cost, you can enjoy a quality audio recording and a wide range of audio novels at paid websites.

Get instant access to downloadable audio books and learn the benefits of renting audio books online.

Is Blogging Changing Literature and Writing in the Present Period?

As literature and writing evolve, more and more people join the successful ranks of bloggers, online article writers, and eBook authors. Are we not sure that what we are doing here today on the Internet is not omnipotent? I believe what we write on the Internet today, will in fact, be how history judges us tomorrow.

Is Blogging changing Literature and Writing in the present period? We know that online article writers are beginning to change content on the Internet and that people spend as much time on the Internet as they do reading newspapers and watch TV combined now.

Some might believe as others have said in the past that "what we say here today will be forgotten," but will it? And will those who played a part in making history in cyber space be the ones who literally changed the face and the future of the written human culture? What say you?

The answer is indeed left for the historians and the entrepreneurial victors of these Internet venues and yet we are well on our way to making that history a reality with our own participation on Blogs, online article sites and content writing.

With this incredible responsibility before us; we must commit thinking time to the cause and understand the importance of this cross-roads in designing the future on the Internet. Let's make a difference!
