No matter which type of literature rack you choose make sure you get one that is large enough to accommodate all of your materials and it is a good idea to get one with a little extra space incase you add to the mix later. If you are looking for a portable rack that is also extremely strong and durable, all steel construction is the best option for you. If you travel frequently, a nylon rack will be better suite.
