Sure, we’ve seen AT&T’s inventory system point towards Case-Mate cases for the upcoming iPhone 5 (which will definitely stop all traffic when October 4th rolls around), but those are just words on a computer display – what about those who want to see the real deal?

It seems that cases for a teardrop-shaped iPhone 5 have also been spotted in the flesh in where else but AT&T retail stores, and this might prove that there is also another handset being announced alongside the iPhone 5 – that is, a far more affordable version of the iPhone 4 known as the iPhone 4S (they should call it the iPhone 4B with “B” for “Budget”).

Do you think that Apple will release a single iPhone when next Tuesday rolls around, or would they introduce two models instead? I guess this weekend is going to see some folks actually start lining up outside Apple Stores in order to be one of the first few folks who will bring home an iPhone 5…and perhaps the iPhone 4S to boot.

Hmmm, guess even Brikk got the memo to manufacture cases for the iPhone 5, and boy have they done it in style. Not forgetting the huge number of iPhone 4 owners out there, Brikk decided to use titanium as the material of choice in their limited edition product range alongside a theme of ‘Altruistic Precision’. This particularly exclusive collection will feature the Trim titanium case for both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5, where you can choose from genuine Gold, Platinum, Black DLC and Gray Stealth finishes with a pocket burning price that ranges from $3,000 all the way to $4,500. Each Trim that is sold will fund one metric ton of rice distributed by various NGOs.

Seems like a win-win situation to me – you get the economy moving, Brikk laughs all the way to the bank and the poor get something to eat. Since the iPhone 5 has yet to be released, Brikk will be offering a trade-in to the Trim for the iPhone 5 for all purchases of the Trim before the end of 2011.

Remember the iPhone 5 cases that showed up not too long ago? Well, the folks over at 9to5mac have discovered even more images of the cases through an Italian blog. The site shows off the case with the iPhone 4 placed inside for comparisons, and if it turns out to be the real deal, the iPhone 5 is going to be a larger and thinner device. And what we forgot to mention in the previous post – the case looks like it was built for a phone that tapers off at the end, similar to the iPhone 5 render done by the folks over at This Is My Next, but less radical.

There’s no way to tell if these are the real cases because Apple has been known to leak out wrong information on purpose just to see who’s been leaking what, but if it’s true, fans who’ve been clamoring for a larger device are going to be very pleased. Since the phone is rumored to be announced this month, we’ll soon be able to put all these rumors to rest. Check out macitynet.it and iSpazio.net for more images of this alleged case.
