Can’t get enough of Star Wars and you feel that you’re the space opera’s number 1 fan on the globe? Well, it would bode you well to check out this Star Wars themed Yamana 200-watt 2.1 surround sound system which was carefully and painstakingly painted by Nub Graffix from the hit reality TV show American Choppers. I woud say that this is more or less an instant classic, where the TIE Fighters come with Yamaha 2.75? mid-range and 1? dome tweeters with built-in cross overs.

Apart from that, there is a 6.5? Yamaha sub-woofer, while the platform from where you control the volume, bass, treble and power, not to mention boasting aux/IPOD input, RCA inputs, and left & right channel outputs that control both TIE Fighters come in the form of the dreaded Death Star. Cue the Imperial March, and a custom made mod like this is definitely not going to come cheap by any means.

Pioneer’s latest DDJ-ERGO controller is so easy and powerful to use, that it is capable of ensuring just about any music enthusiast is capable of making his/her own unique music mixes right from the comfort of their own home – or wherever else they decide to tinker with the DDJ-ERGO. Each purchase will come with the Virtual DJ Limited Edition software by Atomix Productions, letting you get creative right out of the box. Since this new controller will incorporate MIDI functionality, it is very possible to have it be in action with other MIDI compatible DJ software.

Basically, if you’re an aspiring DJ, the DDJ-ERGO is the perfect platform to start in picking up some DJing experience, where it looks totally out of this world. I mean, just check out the stylish controller above and tell me you aren’t sold on it? Boasting contoured edges with black, white and gradient colors, not to mention a large 115 mm platter for increased operability, the DDJ-ERGO also boasts “Pulse Control” which illuminates the different areas of the controller in order to help with the mixing process.

If you’re interested to venture into the world of DJing, then the DDJ-ERGO will arrive sometime this November for $699 a pop. [Press Release]

There are plenty of iOS speaker docks around and speaker systems for the Mac, just walk into any Apple store or Apple reseller and you’ll know what I mean, but more variety can’t hurt right? If the offerings at the moment aren’t to your fancy, XtremeMac has just announced four new audio systems that have been tailored for iOS and Mac owners in mind.

They are the Tango Bar, Luna Voyager II, Soma Stand and Soma Travel. The Tango Bar, as the name implies, is a sound bar that has been design to fit nicely under the monitor of your iMac computer. It includes two tweeters, mid-ranged drivers and passive bass radiators and it can apparently connect to a discrete subwoofer for that added oomph.

The Luna Voyager II is an alarm clock and you will be able to hook your iPad up to it. It also pairs with the Luna Voyager iOS app that lets you set both alarms, tune the FM radio and select your presets.

The Soma Stand is a bit of unique design, featuring a tent-like design that folds out as pictured above. It can either be powered by an AC adapter or batteries, claiming 6 hours worth of continuous playback.

Last but not least is the Soma Travel which is a bar shaped speaker system and is powered by neither AC or batteries, but instead it relies on your iOS device’s battery. The dock can be pulled out and pushed back in for traveling and conserving space. As the name implies it was designed for traveling, so you may want to make sure your iOS device is fully charged least you find your phone out of battery.

No word on pricing but they are said to be made available this October, so if any of these speakers have caught your fancy, be sure to keep an eye out for them on XtremeMac’s website.
