If you have been using the internet for awhile now, you may probably be aware of peer-to-peer (P2P) programs such as Napster, Limewire and Kazaa. Now it looks like in an attempt to make themselves a legitimate music service, Kazaa has finally caved in and released an iOS app that would allow users to listen to an unlimited amount of music for a monthly fee.

Kazaa’s attempts at going legit aren’t new, and in the past they have tried to encourage iOS users to use their services via browser, very possibly in an attempt to avoid Apple’s 30% cut for in-app subscription services, but for those not a fan of web-based services, the good news is that you will now be able to download the app for free. The app will come with a one week trial, after which users will have the option of subscribing to Kazaa’s services at a flat rate of $10 per month.
