It's almost time to prepare for your annual trek to the Bath Literature Festival! The festival, which is celebrated yearly from February 25th to March 6th, is a celebration of the debate inspired by works of literature and its authors. According to the official documentation, this festival was begun in 1995 in order to bring together authors and people interested in stimulating debate, lively conversation, and, of course, author insights. During these nine days from February to March, the Bath hotels will be stuffed with impressive minds and The Guildhall in Bath will host thoughtful entertainments of the best kind.

Planning Your Trip to the Festival
Tickets, which go on sale to the general public on January 4, 2011, will go fast so if you are interested in attending this nine day festival of mental stimulation, then you need to make your plans now. Even if you can't buy tickets just now, you can still lay the groundwork for your trip. Remember, the first day of festival events is free. Take the time to sign up for the festival newsletter and consider making arrangements to book a bath hotel. Even when one of the UK's best-known festivals is not in town, the city is a popular travel destination and rooms in the Bath hotels go fast. You'll want to make sure that you don't miss out on this unique literary event.
