DanceDanceRevolution II for WiiWhile Activision might have decided to pull out of the rhythm game business, other companies like Konami aren’t quite done yet and continue milking the series for what it’s worth. Today, Konami has announced the release of DanceDanceRevolution II for the Nintendo Wii. Featuring a selection of brand new pop songs heard on radio recently, the dancing game aims to get you grooving and moving on the dance floor (your living room or wherever the Wii is set up) no matter how bad or good you are at it.

With songs for every skill level, and support for one to four players, DanceDanceRevolution II is designed for everyone to play. It now features a School Mode for training newbies, and Challenge mode for veterans of the game. It also includes the Doubleplay functionality found in the arcades, that lets a single player to play on two DanceDanceRevolution mat controllers simultaneously. DDR II also has a Workout Mode for those of you who want to work out how many calories you’ve managed to burn, and support for Miis so users can dance with their own avatars.

DanceDanceRevolution II is available now for the Nintendo Wii in retail stores nationwide with an SRP of $29.99 and $49.99 for the bundle that gives you a mat controller. Find out more.
