Just yesterday we reported that Samsung reportedly had plans to get back at Apple for their recent wave of lawsuits. It seems that Samsung was reported as having plans to ban Apple’s yet-to-be-announced iPhone 5 the minute it attempts to arrive in South Korea. Given how Apple has been on a crusade to get several of Samsung’s products banned in various parts of the world, it did seem rather fitting that Samsung would try to get Apple back, and with home group support too.
Now it looks like there are new reports where it suggests that Samsung is not content with banning the iPhone 5 from just South Korea, and it seems that they’re going to try for Europe as well, or that’s what a source supposedly “familiar with the matter” is claiming. This is apparently taken off Korean newspaper publication, the Maeil Business Newspaper. Samsung will be taking a different route in their lawsuit by claiming that Apple infringed upon wireless technology patents, as opposed to the design patent infringement argument that Apple has been favoring all this while.
