Fans of Harry Potter who still haven’t gotten their hands on the 3D Blu-ray versions of the final two Harry Potter movies because they don’t own any 3D players now have a reason to invest in one. Sony has announced that it will be providing the “Harry Potter 3D Experience” with any purchases of its selected products – the Sony BDP-S780 Blu-ray Disc player with 3D or the BDV-E580 Blu-Ray 3D home theater system.
The “Harry Potter 3D Experience” will consist of Blu-ray 3D versions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2. In addition to the 3D movies, the bundles will also include Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on Blu-ray (2D) and digital vouchers to download the same movies on compatible devices through Video Unlimited on the Sony Entertainment Network or PlayStation Store. Two pairs of Sony active 3D glasses will also be provided with the bundle. Talk about a great deal for any Potter fan!
