If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the ASUS Eee Pad Slider, good news because you won’t have to wait anymore. The Android tablet with the built-in slide-out keyboard that was introduced way back in January at CES 2011 has officially reached our stores. It features the usual specs found on most Android tablets nowadays: a Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1? IPS (1280 x 800) display, a rear 5-megapixel camera, 1.2-megapixel front facing camera, microSD card slot, USB 2.0 slot and mini HDMI port for 1080p output. And let’s not forget Android 3.2 Honeycomb and the slide-out keyboard for increased productivity.
The tablet has been spotted on sale at Amazon for $699, though New Egg is selling it at $479 – so you might want to shop around. Check out the advert for the tablet after the break:
