A.I.type
If you’re not a fan of the stock keyboard available with your Android phone, the good news is that you can easily change it to something else. But with so many different kinds of keyboards available on the Android Market – which one do you choose? Well, if you’re bad at typing and constantly find yourself making spelling mistakes while you type, you might want to give A.I.type a shot. Developed by A.I.type, the A.I.type keyboard is touted to be intelligent and accurate, with the ability to automatically correct your mistakes without miscorrecting.

A.I.type claims that it has the best prediction engine in the mobile world and Android Market, reducing the amount of keystrokes needed to type on Android by 75%. What makes A.I.type so accurate is its cloud-based-prediction that is constantly updated to ensure that it can always read your mind. However if you use it in areas where you have no internet connection or if you choose to turn off the cloud-based-prediction, it can still predict your words on the phone itself, albeit at less successful rate.

The A.I.type learns new words the more you use it, and you don’t have to worry about the phone sending out what you type to the cloud – everything it learns from you stays on the device. The keyboard is highly customizable with 8 different built-in skins though if you’re the creative type, you can even customize them yourself.

The A.I.type Keyboard Plus is available on the Android Market for $4.82, though there is also a beta version for you to try out for free. Check out some demonstration videos of A.I.type in action:
